Taking the raw sound of the original UK rap and hoodtrap vibe and locking into the 140 BPM pocket, “4 Raws” gets flipped into a heavy, trap inspired dubstep track with crushing bass, hard hitting drums, and a darker edge. The original has a distinct energy that I wanted to keep intact while completely changing the production around it.
The remix pushes the track into heavier territory while leaving plenty of space for the vocal to do its thing. Same “4 Raws,” completely different setting.
