Some tracks already feel cinematic before you ever touch them. “Falls Apart” by nilsix and Adara was one of those records.
The original has a huge melodic trance atmosphere, and instead of trying to compete with that energy, I wanted to translate it into something with a completely different groove. This remix takes the emotional core of the song and drops it into a UK garage framework built around chunky drums, swung rhythms, and heavyweight low-end.
One of my favorite parts of producing remixes is finding the balance between respecting the original and introducing something unexpected. The melodies and vocal remain the emotional anchor, while the production shifts into a space that feels equally at home in a UKG set or a late-night bass music mix.
This remix pulls inspiration from classic UK garage, modern bass music, and trance music. The result is something that still feels uplifting and emotional, but with a groove that’s impossible not to move to.
